What is the New Blogger?

For about six months, Blogger tested a new and improved technology under the name Blogger Beta.

Now Beta is dead because Blogger officially launched it as The New Blogger (using your Google Account) in December 2006.

A tour of The New Blogger shows that it allows you to:

• More easily customize your template
• Create a private blog
• Create a multiple author blog
• Use more feed options
• Publish your blog immediately

In Blogger’s words, “Say goodbye to the dreaded “Publishing…” spinner. Now, when you make a new post or change any of your settings, your blog is updated and changes go live immediately; you don’t have to remember to republish.”
