Login turned on, but stats reports still offline

Account login is now turned on and so you can at least do basic administrative funcions like:

  • updating your password
  • retrieving your counter code
  • changing your counter icon
  • viewing your total visitor count (for those with stealth counters)

We are looking to see whether the system can bear the added load of users logging into their accounts, in addition to the regular stats counting by BlogPatrol.

Why are stats reports still turned off? We already know that the system cannot handle the regular stats reporting, so we will not enable access to stats reports until we migrate in a few weeks to the upgraded servers at our new web hosting provider, SingleHop.com.

I expect to have more updates for you once we have a couple days' worth of performance data with user logins enabled.

If you like this article, then click on this link to "Digg It" and help promote BlogPatrol.com. Thanks!

It's been over 24 hours since we turned on access to account logins again. So far so good.

Please post a comment if you have any trouble logging in, thanks!

I mentioned a day or so ago that the counters werwe down and asked the question that if the counters were down on the blog pages, are the hits still being counted?
I checked back today, but my post wasn't approved, I thought it was a was a polite question.

I'm something like a fan of Blogpatrol. I checked the statistics 5 or more times by day. I hope they can be available again very soon. Good luck !!!

So when am I going to be able to see the stats again? I liked this service when it was working, but it's kind of defeating the purpose right now. :/

Is this ever going to be a real service again? Seems like it's been forever.

when the stats report is back online will we be able to see the stats of the people who visited our blog during the time it was down, or is all that a moot point.

Do you have any more news on how the update is going? I keep checking the blog, but haven't seen anything for a few weeks.

Hoping everything will be fully functional very soon!

it's been almost 2 months now and I can't track my stats. It's getting a little tedious and annoying and will probably bail out of crap blogpatrol soon.
