a facility to view key historical information compiled into user-friendly charts would be very helpful.
At this point, we are able to see only 3 weeks of data at a time - the rest of the history is not getting stored, it seems. I'm sure this kind of information makes the likes of sitemeter.com popular because bloggers are akin to CEOs and love to flip through annual reports and performance reviews :)
I cannot stay signed in, and half the time the blogpatrol site isn't even there. My blog counter is a box with an X inside. What's up, it was doing great?
Amber777: Sorry we had some issues yesterday with the database. We are back online now, but if you are finding any other issues, please let us know.
It says that I have 0 hits for today which I know is wrong and it also says that today is Monday the 29th for me. Please advise.
Ren: We are researching the BlogPatrol stats for your blog at Erin Denver. We will be following up with you via email to the address registered with your account.
Its 2/24/10, and the Top 20 Pages Viewed and Last Pages Viewed (both come up when selecting total stats) are incomplete, leaving off a significant number of hits as well as any recent hits. This has been going on for more than a week. I imagine you are aware of it, but thought I would log it just in case.
I sent an e-mail to the help desk last week and never received a response. Blog patrol is recording my new laptop as a visitor even though I have set the exclusion cookies - twice! Each time it recorded a different IP address from the same computer???? Despite that, it is still recording each of my visits as a "Unique Visitor" so your numbers are totally off base. I don't think this was happening before. Can you tell if this is going to be fixed?
My counter stop counter as of yesterday midnight. Please advise if there is any limitation or do I need to reset anything.
Din Power Impian: We're not sure what happened yesterday, but when we tested your BlogPatrol account today, your stats recorded our visit from the IP address "8.sub-75-197-148.myvzw.com" at 07:18:06 UTC America/New York.
Can you let us know if you find any further problems with your stats?
Eden Compton: I apologize that we were slow in responding to your email of March 31.
I'm writing to confirm that, as of our email thread with you ending on April 4, we have resolved to your satisfaction the issue you reported. Please let us know if you have any further questions about your BlogPatrol account.
Although we operate BlogPatrol part-time, we usually respond to user support emails within 24 to 48 hours.
Tony -- This was taken care the day after I posted. Whoever answered was very informative and helpful. Thanks for following up.
Eden: Thanks for the feedback!
My Blog counter has disappeared and there is just a box with a red cross in it. Can you help?
do you still exist? A permanent red x & won't log me in on the website. Get the home page & that's as far as it goes. Try to log in & it's blank. Could really use some work here cos this "known issue" has been know for a few years now & you don't seem bothered.... Pity cos it was good once... Hope you can mend it.
